You Belong Here

Find Community

We all want to belong. It's natural to want to feel connected. We believe we were created to live in community and relationship, with God and with each other. But despite being connected more than ever by technology, more and more of us feel lonely and isolated. It might just be something you can't put your finger on, but you know that deep sense of relationship and belonging is missing in your life.

At Caterham Baptist Church we go to great lengths to try and create a welcoming and inclusive community. The Bible describes the church community that Jesus started as being like a body - lots of different people from different cultures and backgrounds who have found a sense of belonging and a restored relationship with God, using the gifts and characteristics that He has given them to serve Him and others. We're not perfect. We have our faults and failings just like everybody else. But we try hard to show love, forgiveness and support to one another, just as God has shown us love and forgiveness. It's the way Jesus told us to live.

We also love to welcome visitors and to show them the same love that we have experienced from God. If you want a place where you feel you belong, visit us and you'll find a really warm welcome. It's not a bad place to start.
