We are a lively, friendly and diverse group of Bible-believing and proclaiming Christians. We meet on Sundays at 10.30 am and 6.30 pm in our building, in Beechwood Road, Caterham.

In God’s strength, we aim to:

  • teach the Bible faithfully and apply its message in ways that are relevant and accessible to the whole community.
  • encourage people to consider the claims of Jesus Christ in order to find hope and eternal life through personal faith in him.
  • help those in our church to grow and to live spiritual lives following the example of Jesus’ life and the authority of his teaching.
  • support the work of a number of like-minded Christian individuals, churches and mission agencies in the UK and overseas as an expression of our belief that we form part of the worldwide Christian church.

The church has about 100 members and we have a Sunday morning congregation of about 120-140. The building we meet in was built by church members in the 1970s. The building next door, “The Manse”, was formerly where the minister lived, but now comprises offices and small meeting rooms. In 2005 the buildings were refurbished and extended to provide improved disabled access, extra classroom space and better kitchen facilities.

We are a registered charity, number 1135414.

125 years!

This year we are celebrating the 125th anniversary of the founding of the church, back in 1894.
During the year we will be remembering the Lord's goodness to us over that time, and looking forward to the future under His guidance.
